Note:   David and his siblings were raised by his grandparents (1880 census:Seaborn C. Burson, Sr., [ SIC]^ App. G-- it was Brantleys,Walton Co.,GA., as his parents had died when he was quite young. David Left homeabout 1885, first going to Texas. By 1894 he was in New Mexico Territoryand ca. 1924 he moved to Arizona, where he died on his ranch betweenPeeples Valley and Yarnell.
     David was a sheep and cattle rancher, gone from home a lot, and hiswife took care of the home and choldren at these times. There were manyIndians and outlaws in the areawhere they lived.
